About this ETF
The Monarch Blue Chips Core Index ETF (MBCC) aims to invest in leading, reputable corporations known for their robust financial health, often referred to as "blue-chip" companies. To achieve this, the fund initially considers the S&P 500 index, which comprises large-capitalization U.S. companies from diverse industries, weighted by their market value. However, instead of simply mirroring the entire S&P 500, MBCC utilizes a unique, systematic screening process. This methodology assesses each company based on key financial metrics such as sales, sales growth, debt levels, net income, earnings expansion, and overall profitability. MBCC typically maintains a concentrated portfolio of approximately 24 companies that demonstrate superior fundamental strength according to its ranking system. As a result of this focused approach, the fund's investments may exhibit substantial concentration in one or more specific industry sectors. All selected securities are equally-weighted, and the portfolio generally undergoes rebalancing on the first Monday of every month. It's worth noting that prior to March 4, 2024, this fund operated under the name Monarch Blue Chips Core ETF.
