Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) — the market-data provider: ETF universe list, delayed quotes, fund profiles (fees, AUM, NAV, inception, issuer, descriptions), holdings, sector and country weightings, distribution history, daily price history (unadjusted and dividend-adjusted), and symbol-tagged news metadata. Licensed commercial feed; data is delayed 15–20+ minutes and carries the provider's own as-of stamps, which we display.

FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis) — the 3-month Treasury bill rate (series DTB3) used as the risk-free rate in Sharpe/Sortino calculations.

SEC EDGAR — official fund filings. We link to each fund's prospectus (485 filings), shareholder reports (N-CSR) and complete filing history by CIK; we do not host or reproduce those documents.

Mainstream news RSS feeds — ETF.com, ETF Trends, CNBC, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance, CoinDesk and OilPrice.com syndication feeds. We store the headline, the feed's own summary, publisher name and link; articles always open at the publisher. Press-release wires and rating mills are blocklisted.

Computed by ETF Explorer — returns, risk statistics, trailing yields, distribution growth, flow estimates, trending scores and classifications, per the Methodology. These derive exclusively from the stored series above.

Update schedule. Quotes/news hourly; universe, profiles, history and analytics daily; full holdings sweep weekly. The admin data-quality dashboard monitors failures and staleness. Provider attribution appears in the site footer, on this page, and in every API response.
