배당 ETF
배당을 기준으로 종목을 선택하거나 비중을 조정하는 펀드입니다 — 현재의 배당수익률과 미래의 성장 간의 선택입니다.
Dividend ETFs screen or weight their holdings by dividend characteristics. Two broad families exist: high-yield funds (maximize current income) and dividend-growth funds (favor companies with long records of raising payouts, often with lower current yield but better historical resilience).
A very high yield can be a warning rather than a gift — it can reflect a falling share price or an unsustainable payout. That is why this site shows distribution growth rates alongside yield, and labels trailing yield explicitly (past cash ÷ current price).
Check the methodology: how the index screens for quality, how concentrated the fund is in a few sectors (utilities, staples, energy are common tilts), and whether the yield figure quoted is trailing distribution yield or SEC yield.
