About this ETF

OPTO seeks current income by investing in photonics companies of any market cap from around the world while employing a structured options overlay strategy. The fund invests in companies engaged in the development, production, or application of photonics-related products and services. The fund may use deep in-the-money call options or synthetic long positions combining long calls and short puts. To generate additional income, the fund employs a put credit spread strategy, selling near-the-money put options to collect premiums while purchasing out-of-the-money puts to limit downside risk. Options are selected based on implied volatility, liquidity, time to expiration, and market conditions, with the intention to roll these spreads on a recurring basis. The fund may hold US Treasuries, money market instruments, or cash equivalents as collateral and intends to make weekly distributions.

Guided help: AUM is fund size. The expense ratio is the yearly cost baked into returns. NAV is the value of what the fund owns per share; the market price can sit slightly above (premium) or below (discount) it. Total return assumes distributions were reinvested. Every dataset shows its own as-of date because holdings, assets and quotes update on different schedules.
