This fund targets a multiple or the inverse of a DAILY return. Over longer periods, compounding makes results differ — sometimes drastically — from the index times the multiple. Issuers describe these as short-term trading tools. How leveraged ETFs work →

About this ETF

The investment seeks to reflect an inverse exposure to the performance of the Solactive MicroSectorsTM U.S. Big Banks Index on a daily basis. The notes are senior unsecured medium-term notes issued by Bank of Montreal with a return linked to the inverse performance of the index, compounded daily, less a Daily Investor Fee, any negative Daily Interest and, if applicable, the Redemption Fee Amount. The index is an equal-dollar weighted index designed to represent the 10 U.S. stocks with the largest market capitalization in the banking sector.

Guided help: AUM is fund size. The expense ratio is the yearly cost baked into returns. NAV is the value of what the fund owns per share; the market price can sit slightly above (premium) or below (discount) it. Total return assumes distributions were reinvested. Every dataset shows its own as-of date because holdings, assets and quotes update on different schedules.
